Approval of the code

The IPC Classification Code was approved by the IPC General Assembly in Seoul 2007. All International Federations, IOSDs and NPCs signed an ‘acceptance letter’ before the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. The IPC Classification Code became an official part of the IPC Handbook (section 2, chapter 1.3).
