IPC Classification Code

It was considered critical that throughout the process a widespread consultation with the Paralympic Movement and all stakeholders was conducted. Interim drafts were presented to the IPC Membership at multiple occasions, and versions of the Classification code always could be accessed through the IPC website. Each of the consultation rounds ended in a long list of feedback from up to 40 different stakeholders (Sports, classifiers, researchers, IOSDs, IFs, athletes, ….), with up to 200 amendments to Code and IS articles to be reviewed by the CCWG each time.
